update from paul

I must say how impressed I am with the VA's treatment of my brother. He has undergone more tests and studies in the week, a little over, that he's been there than he had in the month beforehand. He has a team of physicians and specialists that are assigned to him and see him during the day. Trap began chemotherapy on Thursday of a heavy metal type in a pill form. Two per day at the beginning then increasing to 10 over time. He also is to have a med port installed on Monday just below his skin to have another type of chemo pumped directly into his veins. He can also have blood tests taken from there as well so he doesn't have to be "stuck "all the time which he hates.

He is slowing down on the pain meds and unfortunately his food intake also. Any one who visits must give him a bunch of grief for not eating as much as he should. He needs all the strength he can get to withstand the treatments that are now underway.

Trap has a continual flow of friends visiting, which is awesome. It clearly has a beneficial effect on him. Thank you for the support.

Well, let's hope and pray that these treatments kick in and kick ass!

Paul
