News from Paul and the Oncologist!

Myself and brother Dave had a very informative meeting with Traps oncologist on Monday. There are more cancer cells in other areas, and Tuesday he will undergo a full body CAT Scan with contrast. This as well as a PET scan that will be performed probably Wednesday, should pinpoint all areas. Chemotherapy will follow to kill and/or reduce the involved areas. His oncologist is very optimistic that he and his team will be successful as he has been so in patients with the same issues. Trap will be there for a bit longer, and he will probably opt to stay at the VA facilities attached to the hospital duriing his treatments which could last 6 months, maybe more maybe less depending on how he responds to the treatments. He is getting stronger and is evidenced by him giving his nurses a ration of &*#@. When he entered the Center last Thursday he had multiple issues, and many of them have been resolved already. His care and attention there is fantastic and the caliber of his docs are of the higest level, well higher than I ever imagined along with the latest in testing and treatment equipment.

I truely believe Trap is in the right place, and he feels so as well.

Until later,
Paul
